Having lived in Atlanta for almost seven years my husband and I have moved to Buffalo, New York to start a new chapter in our lives. We’ve left a daughter in Baltimore and a daughter in Alabama and are now enjoying an empty nest along with our dog and cat. Moving to a new city is exciting, scary, and challenging. I am blessed to be able to pick up my coaching practice and move it to New York.
Here’s how I got here…
After many years of working in Human Resources for large and small corporations I found myself wanting to share my gifts with people on a more personal and individual basis. If there is one rule I try to live by it's "Take care of yourself, because no one else is going to do it!” Success for me has always included helping others get to "AHA!" That is how Coach with Grace was born.
Coaching is a partnership. It's about needing someone to listen to your agenda and help you find the answer in you. When I think about my clients, I am reminded of the story of the boy and the starfish – A man approaches a small boy on the beach which is covered with starfish. One by one the boy throws them into the sea. The man asks why and the boy says to save the starfish. The man says there are too many to save and tossing them into the sea won’t make a difference. As he returns a starfish to the ocean, the boy says, “It makes a difference to this one.”
